COORDINATED HEALTH OPENS ITS NEWEST, STATE-OF-THE-ART INTEGRATED HEALTHCARE CAMPUS IN PHILLIPSBURG, NJ
Western NJ Community Leaders Senator Michael Doherty, Assemblyman John DiMaio, Freeholders Jason Sarnoski and Rick Gardner Join in Celebration
PHILLIPSBURG, NJ, October 27, 2015 – Coordinated Health (CH), eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey’s leading specialty surgical hospital network, today hosted a ribbon-cutting event at its newest and 17th integrated healthcare campus at 222 Red School Lane in Phillipsburg, NJ. The company hopes to provide a new choice and level of access, quality of care and experience to both Western NJ patients and employers.
The new CH campus offers the region’s largest team of specialty and fellowship-trained Orthopedics, Joint Replacement, Spine, Hand & Wrist and Foot & Ankle physicians. It also hosts Primary Care and a Care On Demand Walk-In center, Physical Therapy and advanced imaging (including the region’s only wide bore MRI magnet).
Phase I of the company’s plan includes the current medical office building with 30 clinical and administrative staff. Coordinated Health also has plans for Phase II, which it hopes will include a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center, with the need for an additional 50+ staff and new jobs to Western NJ. The entire estimated project budget for both Phases I and II is expected to be more than $20 million in economic development for the region.
“For years, Warren County has lacked access to world-class and high-quality care in its own backyard. Most area patients and employers have been forced to travel either further east in NJ, or New York City.” said, Emil DiIorio, MD, Coordinated Health CEO and Chairman. “We believe our new Phillipsburg campus will set a new standard for patient access and experience for Western NJ.”
Conveniently located to highways 22, 57 and Interstate 78, CH Phillipsburg is just minutes away from Warren, Sussex, Hunterdon and Morris counties and offers Western NJ patients and employers access to the network’s entire continuum of care at its nearby 5-Star surgical hospitals.
Prior to CH purchasing, taking possession and renovating the 10-acre, 23,085 square foot facility, it was home to Avantor Performance Materials. The complex stood vacant for four years after Avantor moved its headquarters to its current location in the Saucon Valley, PA.
Before the launch of its new campus, Coordinated Health had seen patients for more than four years at its two former locations at Hillcrest Plaza and Stryker Rd. The physicians practicing at CH have treated patients in New Jersey for more than 20 years. As a result of the opening of the new Red School Lane location, both clinics are now closed and all staff have been successfully integrated into the company’s newest facility.
“Expanding Coordinated Health’s footprint in Phillipsburg makes great business sense, for both the region and our company. Our patients, employers, physicians and staff call New Jersey Home. We are proud to provide the community with something deserving of this great community,” said DiIorio.
“This is a great day for Warren County, Lopatcong Township and the Phillipsburg area,” says Sen. Doherty. “It’s amazing the economic activity that’s occurring. CH has made a commitment to invest in Warren County.”
