Coordinated Health, the region’s most trusted name in orthopedics, is joining forces with the area’s top softball training facility, 7 Deadly Spins, for a dynamic seminar and demonstration for athletes, coaches, and parents. The seminar will discuss how proper exercises can improve performance and prevent common softball injuries. Some of the topics will include:

  • Warm-up, speed, power, quickness, and strength
  • Shoulder conditioning for softball pitchers
  • How weak links lead to power-loss and injury

Alex Maclean  

Pitching Technique (driving off the mound)

Alex Maclean is the founder of 7 Deadly Spins. She graduated from Northampton High School in 2009, where she still holds the record in career softball wins and shutouts. Maclean went on to play Division 1 softball at Bucknell University and currently holds nine spots on the program’s top 10 single season record lists and six spots on the program’s career lists, including games, starts, shutouts and strikeouts. Maclean is a certified instructor with Tincher Pitching.

Frank Lupin

Softball Strength and Conditioning

Frank Lupin has served as director of Coordinated Health’s Performance Fitness Program and is passionate about helping others reach their fitness and health goals. He provides guidance and expertise in sports medicine, corrective exercise, and performance training. He works with all levels of athletes, including college athletes, professionals, and weekend warriors. He has also coached youth softball.
