Coordinated Health’s Allentown and Bethlehem Hospitals Receive Top 15% Ranking by Healthgrades in Patient Experience
Allentown, PA (April 4, 2016) – Coordinated Health (CH) announced today that it has achieved the Healthgrades 2016 Outstanding Patient Experience and Patient Safety Excellence Awards™. Both CH’s Allentown and Bethlehem Hospitals ranked among the top 15 percent in the nation in Patient Experience, and the CH Bethlehem Hospital achieved top 10 percent status in Patient Safety.

Healthgrades evaluated patient experience performance by applying a scoring methodology to 10 measures, using data collected from a 32-question patient experience survey of the hospital’s own patients. The survey questions focus on patients’ perspectives of their care in the hospital. Question topics range from cleanliness and noise levels in patient rooms to factors such as pain management and responsiveness to patients’ needs.
In addition, patients treated in the CH Hospitals were, on average:
