Coordinated Health has signed a new combined sports medicine and performance contract agreement with Executive Education Academy Charter School (EEACS). The school, located across from Coca-Cola Park on Union Boulevard in Allentown, was founded in 2014 and has a student population of about 1,300.
Greg Leh, Associate Vice President of Sports Management and Performance, emphasized the particularly special relationship with this young school.
“It’s not just business as usual,” Leh said. “They are excited to have us there, and we are excited to be there.”
The sports medicine team at CH is very excited about this partnership opportunity with EEACS’s Raptor Athletics, building a full program with the school and assisting with the planning of their gym and training room. The gym is set to open in January of 2019.
“We are putting quality employees there, providing a quality service,” said Nick Smull, Athletic Training Administrative Team Lead. “Executive Education Academy Charter School chose Coordinated Health for their sports medicine because they know we are the best.”
The school currently offers basketball and wrestling teams, and CH is enthusiastic about enhancing the relationship with the school as it continues to build its athletic program. School administrators are hopeful about the addition of new sports as the school continues to grow.
“These kids don’t realize how much potential they have,” said CH athletic trainer Josh Rueda. “At the end of the day, we are there for them. We have a serious opportunity to make a huge change in this community, and I am extremely grateful for that.”
