Coordinated Health Welcomes Primary Care and Sports Medicine Physician, Dr. Megan LaBuz

Allentown, Pa. – November 6, 2018 – Coordinated Health (CH), a hospital and health network with locations throughout eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey, announced that Dr. Megan LaBuz has joined its Primary Care and Sports Medicine team.  She now sees patients in Allentown and Bethlehem and serves as a team physician for Lehigh University.

Dr. LaBuz earned her Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Notre Dame in 2009.  She received her Doctorate of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 2014.  She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Indiana, where she provided game coverage for the University of Notre Dame.  She completed her Sports Medicine Fellowship at Christiana Care in Delaware, where she served as assistant team physician for the University of Delaware and the Delaware 87ers.  She has also served as team physician and/or provided coverage for numerous high school, community and national events, including the Marine Corps Marathon.

Dr. LaBuz offers comprehensive care for athletes and active patients, including the diagnosis and treatment of sports-related injuries and illnesses, with a focus on injury prevention.  She has specialized training in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, joint injections, compartment pressure testing, concussions, tenotomy, and trigger point injections.

“As an avid athlete in my formative years, I was exposed to many aspects of sports medicine via clinic visits, physical therapy, surgery, and sport technique modification.” said Dr. LaBuz.  “My goal is to help patients and athletes re-engage in life at the level of activity they desire.”
