Ashkon Razavi, MD
Hand & Wrist Surgeon
Ashkon Razavi is an orthopedic surgeon at Coordinated Health, part of Lehigh Valley Health Network, specializing in hand and wrist care.
Prior to joining CH, Dr. Razavi worked at the Orthopedic Center of Illinois and at Northern Virginia Orthopedic Specialists as a hand, wrist, and upper extremity surgeon. He enjoys working with the intricate anatomy of the hand, and has spent his career specializing in its care. He became interested in pursuing medicine in high school.
“I liked the hard sciences, biology, physiology, physics. Many orthopedic surgeons are brought into the profession by sports, and in my case that was true, I played football in high school. But it was also because one of my best friends’ fathers was an orthopedic surgeon. His work sounded mentally challenging, physically challenging, and financially rewarding,” he said.
Dr. Razavi treats patients in Bethlehem, Wind Gap, and East Stroudsburg.
“After doing some research on Coordinated Health and Dr. DiIorio’s vision, it seemed like a very innovative model. CH is a novel, innovative, efficient and smart hybrid of an orthopedic private practice and a large hospital system. It draws upon the benefits of both without succumbing to the inefficiencies of either,” said Dr. Razavi.
