
Michael Busch, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Coordinated Health, part of Lehigh Valley Health Network.
Dr. Busch has been with Coordinated Health since 1995. He graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in 1976. He went on to do his residency at the Hospital for Joint Disease and Orthopedic Institute in New York, focusing on orthopedic surgery and spending the last year of his residency as chief resident.
Specializing in arthroscopy, sports medicine and joint replacements, he was also recently appointed to chief of orthopedic surgery at Sacred Heart Hospital and is a team physician for Northampton High School.
In addition, Dr. Busch has a number of teaching responsibilities. He has been a lecturer in orthopedic surgery to third-year medical students at Lehigh Valley Hospital since 1987, an adjunct assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at the Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia, and a clinical associate professor at Allentown College of St. Francis de Sales.
Dr. Busch is a member of several professional organizations, including American Medical Association, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Lehigh County Medical Society, Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, and Lehigh Valley Orthopaedic Association.
