Susan Cooley, MD, FACS is an ophthalmologist with Coordinated Health.
Prior to joining Coordinated Health, she was an ophthalmologist at Coventry Eye Associates in Phillipsburg, NJ for 30 years. She was also previously a General Ophthalmic Surgeon and Department Chief at Warren Hospital. Dr. Cooley had a private ophthalmology practice Somerville, NJ from 1988-1991. She worked at Wills Eye Hospital Pathology Department in Philadelphia, PA as a Research Fellow, at Thomas Jefferson University, Pediatric Allergy & Immunology Lab in Philadelphia, PA as a Laboratory Technician, and at ICI Americas in Wilmington, DE as a Renal Pharmacology Research Technician.
She holds a board certification with American Board of Ophthalmology. She also holds professional memberships with American College of Surgeons, American Board of Ophthalmology, American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, and Lehigh Valley Ophthalmology Society.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lafayette College in Easton, PA in 1979. She then earned her Medical Doctorate from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, PA in 1984. She also completed a medical internship program at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ. Dr. Cooley completed a residency program as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, New York, NY.
