Thomas Jordan, MD
Thomas Jordan, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with Coordinated Health Scranton Orthopedics, credentialed at Coordinated Health Hospitals.
He is a graduate of Scranton High School who received his Bachelor of Arts and Science degrees from the University of Scranton where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington D.C. He also completed his Surgical Residency at Georgetown. He then went on to complete a one year fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy with Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is the only fellowship trained Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Surgeon in Lackawanna County.
Dr. Jordan specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic injuries of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle. His surgical focus includes extensive training in arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, including ACL injuries, meniscal tears, rotator cuff disease, biceps pathology and shoulder instability. In addition, he performs tendon repairs and ligament reconstruction, cartilage salvage and restoration and manages fractures. He also has expertise in total shoulder and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty.
Dr. Jordan is on staff at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Moses Taylor Hospital and the Northeast Surgery Center. He maintains his office here in Dickson City.
