Dr. Vikram Arora is a Board-Certified physiatrist who specializes in spine care. Prior to coming to Coordinated Health, Dr. Arora served as an attending physician at Northeastern Rehabilitation Associates. Dr. Arora provides comprehensive, non-operative spine care. He performs various fluoroscopically-guided spine injections, and advanced minimally-invasive procedures such as radiofrequency neurotomy and spinal cord stimulation.
After graduating with honors from the University of Scranton, Dr. Arora attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residency at Temple University Hospital/Moss Rehabilitation. He was elected as Chief Resident and published a variety of articles as well as book chapters related to PM&R. Following residency, Dr. Arora completed an Interventional Spine Fellowship at Northeastern Rehabilitation Associates, a member of the North American Spine Society Interventional Spine Fellowship Consortium.
Dr. Arora firmly believes in performing high-quality and evidence-based spine interventions. He believes in a multidisciplinary approach to managing his patient’s pain utilizing injections, medications, physical therapy, and manipulation.
“The most important thing I can do for my patient is determining the exact source of their pain. There are multiple pain generators throughout the spine and an accurate diagnosis is crucial in determining the best treatments. This should be accomplished by performing a comprehensive history/exam and utilizing meticulously performed diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.”
